Jenna Fischer's most recognizable role is that of Pam Beesly in the highly acclaimed television series The Office. The actress won 2 SAG Awards and an Emmy for her exceptional performance in an ensemble comedy.
Jenna was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana, but her family was primarily from St. Louis, Missouri. Jenna watched her mom, Anne, perform in church plays when she was young and was able to instill a love for theater and performing.
Fischer was a theater actress in her own country. She starred in the Off-Broadway production Reasons to be Happy that was directed and written by Neil LaBute and co-starring Josh Hamilton, Leslie Bibb, and Fred Weller. At the Old Globe Theatre's world premiere, she played opposite Greg Germann and Josh Stamberg in Steve Martin's absurdist comedy Meteor Shower.
The Office co-star Angela Kinsey and Fischer have launched Office Ladies, a podcast on Earwolf in the month of October. The podcast has proven to be a huge success, reaching in the Top Ten worldwide every week with more than 200 million downloads within its first two-years. Office Ladies was awarded the iHeart Radio Podcast of the year award in January 2021.
She is also co-author of Office BFF's Tales of The Office from Two Best Friends there. This autobiography is about their friendship and the work they did in the production of The Office.
